‘Newton’ killed by Indian Forces

Ishaq, an Arabic version of the famous scientist Isaac Newton''s name, was a bright student at his school. He had scored 98.4 per cent in Class 10th and 85 per cent in 12th.

Forces in Indian administrated Kashmir killed three youngsters including a teen student—preparing to appear in entry test for medical education —declaring him a militant.  On early Thursday morning, thousands of Kashmir people came together to pay tribute to 19 year old Ishaq Ehmad Parrey—known as Issac Newton at his school—who was killed along with three others  by government forces during  midnight shoot out in Dadsara village of Tral in northern Kashmir.

According to a report published in Greater Kashmir, Ishaq, was a bright student at his school. He had scored 98.4 per cent in Class 10th and 85 per cent in 12th. One of his friends was quoted saying they will always remember him as Newton. “He was the best among all of us. We will miss our ‘Newton’,” he said.

Tral is considered the most volatile area and hotbed of armed freedom movement in Jammu & Burhan Muzaffar Wani, a commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, comes from same area.

Ishaq has allegedly joined militancy in March. “He was just 19. And preparing for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be a doctor when he left home,” he said.

Amid pro-freedom slogans, Ishaq’s body was laid to the rest at martyr’s graveyard in Laribal village.Ishaq was the close aide of Burhan Wani, a Hizbul Mujahideed  commander and the face of present freedom movement in Kashmir claimed JK Police in a statement . Police sources claimed that Issac was recruited by Burhan.
