Najam Sethi, Chairman of the Pakistan Super League on Saturday expressed his wish of including a sixth team in the PSL. Sethi’s wish expressed through twitter, might just create flutters in certain quarters as Sethi wishes the team should be from Kashmir.
“My dream is to launch 6th Kashmir team in PSL this year. Hope our five franchisee partners will support me in this initiative,” Sethi wrote on Twitter.
Javid Afridi, who owns Peshawar Zalimi, endorsed his views. “Simply we can open the Gates for the New Talent from Kashmir where the spirit of One Kashmir Flag raises through continents,” he tweeted. The team is lead by Shahid Afridi who in the recently concluded WT20 thanked Kashmiris for their support.
The inaugural edition of Pakistan Super League was a huge success which took place in UAE where five teams, namely Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Galadiators and the champions Islamabad United participated.
