20 tourists drown in Neelum Valley

20 tourists, most of them students from Punjab, drowned in Jagran nullah this morning in Kundal Shahi town of Neelum Valley in Pakistan administered Kashmir, local media reports.
Some locals believed to be among those drown in the accident.
According to local administration, bodies of six tourists have been recovered while six others injured have been rescued from Jagran nullah and neighboring Neelum river by locals.
Deputy commissioner Neelum told that operation continues to rescue those still missing but there are only a few chance to recover anyone alive because of freezing temperature and speedy flow of the nullah.
Overloaded suspension bridge at Jagran nullah near Kundal Shahi Power House intake collapsed when a group of around 20 student, mostly from Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan and Sahiwal assembled on it to take a photograph.
